Below are short clips from test shots captured with the Phantom HD high speed digital camera from Vision Research
At full HD resolution this camera can capture up to 1000 frames per second.
These Quicktimes have been scaled down to around a quarter size of the full HD size source files (1920x1080 16bpc TIFF sequences), and compressed in H264.
A gamma of 2.0 and a small degree of saturation has been applied (not been graded as such). Zeiss Superspeed T1.3 lenses were used.
When viewed on a good HD monitor the quality is amazing.
Thanks to John Hannaford and Jo Cleaves at Vision Research UK for the use of camera, Ture, Helen, and DP Ray Carlin for helping out on the test (and Peanut).
